Junior Forecasting Analyst

eMarketer is looking for a forecasting analyst to join our team and help clients identify key trends in consumers’ media consumption, use of new technologies and shopping behaviors—as well as help clients make smart decisions about digital marketing and media investments.

You will work directly with our forecasting team to develop eMarketer estimates and forecasts and provide our content teams with insights to help develop reports, articles and press releases as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and analyze data and information from various sources related to digital and mobile marketing industry and develop models for eMarketer estimates and forecasts.
  • Stay on top of digital and mobile trends.
  • Work with forecasting team and other content teams to identify new trends and topics that are valuable to eMarketer clients and expand eMarketer estimates and forecasts into those new areas.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in marketing, business or economics.
  • Must have a strong quantitative background.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, persuasively and cleanly.
  • Knowledge of digital and mobile trends from both consumer usage side and marketing side + knowledge of the trends in global markets a big plus.
  • Research experience in online advertising and marketing, social media, and/or mobile space a plus.
  • Ability to work with little supervision on projects.
  • Must be very organized, self-motivated, and a great team player.
  • Strong project management skills desired.
  • Experience in using Excel.
  • Highly prefer NY metro area resident.
