Sales & Marketing Automation, Manager

About the Role

This role will be the automation systems lead for eMarketer and will oversee the end-to-end automation processes to support the business. The role will primarily support the sales and marketing teams to automate certain aspects of the sales cycle and marketing campaigns. This person will also manage eMarketer’s email marketing with a focus on segmentation, engagement and creating a great brand experience. This role will help run programs that contribute to goals for both new business sales and current customers. Responsibilities also include implementing new automation programs, presenting ideas or new strategies, monitoring and evaluating outcomes and presenting solutions to improve on any current campaigns.
 

The ideal candidate will be able to solve complex problems using the systems at their disposal. A person in this role needs to be adaptable, love learning new tools/systems and extremely detail oriented. Ideally, anyone applying for this role will have some systems admin experience and proven experience using systems creatively and effectively to solve business challenges.

Traits & Skills You Possess:  

2-3 years of experience
Data thrills you, analytics excite you, distilling them into actionable insights electrifies you.
Compulsively detail oriented
Always learning – and especially loves learning new systems
Intensely organized
A true problem solver who can think outside the box
Impeccable writing and communication skills required
Knowledge of Marketo, HTML and/or Salesforce is a plus
Passionate about participating in a collaborative, energetic, fun and smart work atmosphere
