Project Manager

As a project manager with eMarketer’s product team, your job is to ensure that what the company wants to get done, gets done. To do so, you will help eMarketer balance the scope, timing, and resources of active software projects.

Along the way, you’ll manage the backlog for agile development teams and translate work from product managers and user experience designers into requirements and “stories” for engineers. You’ll be responsible for communicating upcoming and completed projects with senior stakeholders and respond thoughtfully to their feedback. You’ll work closely with the development team to ease bottlenecks and get decisions or input quickly from many teams across the company.

A successful project manager will help eMarketer build more successful products faster, while keeping stakeholders informed and enthused.

At a day-to-day level, you will:

  • Coordinate communication between product managers and developers on teams, and ensure expectations are set across the product development organization
  • Get decisions from stakeholders, designers, product managers and engineers and communicate them
  • Communicate upcoming and completed work to stakeholders across the company
  • Manage stakeholders and act as a liaison between our teams and them
  • Own “projects” with outsourced development and design teams, and coordinate with internal product teams and stakeholders
