Project Manager

eMarketer is looking for a Product/Project Manager to help grow engagement with eMarketer PRO. As a Product/Project Manager you’ll have the opportunity to solve big challenges facing the business and our users, and you’ll be assessed based on the business outcomes that result from what you build.

 

Day-to-day you’ll tackle challenges like:

  • Work with user experience designers, developers, stakeholders and our customers to develop prototypes, mockups and tests.
  • You will become an expert on our users, conducting interviews and user experience tests with several users per week; as well as analyzing their behavior using analytics tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, SQL, PowerBI and Mongodb.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in editorial, advertising sales, marketing, sales and other departments to understand overall business requirements and goals impacting your area.
  • Write deployable user stories which describe the product in simple terms and is able to break “epic” user stories into smaller, more manageable stories.  Create and maintain product backlog of groomed, prioritized stories.

  • Advocate on behalf of the customer to help drive solutions that deliver business value
  • Drive a self-learning and sharing culture focused on new technologies, industry trends, vendor offerings, successful leadership qualities, soft skill improvements and process frameworks
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to understand their roadmaps and its impact to current and future solutions
  • Deliver projects with an optimal level of project management oversight, documentation, training, quality, communications and status reporting
  • Apply appropriate risk management and root cause analysis in the delivery of quality solutions
  • Communicate in an appropriate, concise and timely fashion across all levels of management
  • Participates and leads sprint work; daily standups, sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming and retrospectives.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,  or other related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong knowledge of  Software Configuration Management and/or Application Lifecycle Management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of leadership
  • Exceptional customer service focus
  • Working knowledge of project management best practices
  • Experience in implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures
